MK 11 Le Mans restoration project.

Purchased by me from Mdina Italia in March 1999 showing 12833 miles.

Last on the road in 2009 when I returned from a trip to France on it during which it delevoped an intermittent misfire accompanied by some smoke from one of the exhausts. It has been in dry storage since that time.

I have looked at the bores and heads with an endoscope and all looks good. Compression was just over 160 psi on one cylinder and just under 170  psi on the other. The carbs have been ultrasonically cleaned, new fuel lines fitted and with fresh fuel it started straight away ticking over nicely with no misfire or smoke.

It is currently fitted with a Sprint fairing, non standard clip ons to fit with the fairing, Tarozzi rear sets, Lanfranconi silencers, Lucas Rita electronic ignition and Koni shocks.

I have the original 3 part fairing, clip ons and rear sets to go with the bike.

The heads have been fitted with hardened valve seats and new guides. The side panels and wheels have been repainted.

I have receipts for all the work I have had carried out and the parts that I have bought in my ownership.  I have little other history from the previous 4 owners.

I am selling this as a restoration project.
