Hi.

Due to a heavy work load I again will be missing this months meet, and spending the day working at the hospital, thanks NHS still seeing as it wasn't a few months ago the prospect of me being out of work was very high so I should count my self lucky. Hope its fine and we get a good turn out. Just a quick note the Wiltshire Branch are again holding their very good Golden Eagle Rally, I will be going and I know Ian has ordered his ticket. numbers are limited but if you can get hold of a ticket you will enjoy it. It held the weekend of the 17th, 18th and 19th of April, for more details see this months gumbalunga.

Thanks Eddie.

Hi,
well that was crap. I managed to get all the way to North Oxford garage and felt my foot slip of the gear lever, looked down and found my right foot covered in oil and the bike smoking away. As a result turned back and got the bike home. Looks like it maybe a head gasket or the oil pipe that comes off the cylinder heads, well replacing both just in case. All I need a week before the Golden Eagle Rally.

Yes it was a pleasant interlude and a fitting way to end a day which started with a low speed drop.
Plus a tribute to the Bella that I didn't go straight home and dump the bike in the garage in disgust but carried on to the Red Lion.
All finished off with a curry, some beer and a whisky.
