July's roving meet at Tintern Old Station involved 9 people enjoying country roads, supping tea and scoffing cakes-Rock n roll never tasted so good!
Karen's nephew Leigh( and possible new member) came along and met us all.He said, with a twinkle in his eye,"It's a bit like the last of the summer wine"!We all enjoyed a lovely sun- blessed afternoon. This was in spite of taking turns in getting lost on the way over-Who needs sat-nav when you're on a bimble?!
We missed the August meet at the Swanlake Inn,Jameston,SAQ 8QE.It is on the A4139 between Tenby and Pembroke. If anyone who did go please feel free to do a write up.That would be Ken,Mike,Pete and Heinz?
September will be spent enjoying the Red Kite on the 8th to the 10th,meeting at The Lion in Llanbister on the 17th around 12ish to review the Red Kite and have a meal together, then, hopefully, going to the Guzzi A.G.M. on the 23/24th.See you at one, or all, of those things-WHY NOT INDEED?!.
That's all fer now folks,
Cheers,Powys Paul
N.B. Red Kite now sold out.
Also, a few of our 2 Wales branches made it to the Guzzi Festival and had a great time.Good weather for the most part, tasty food on site and the band and general atmosphere was grand too.Just don't ask about the mistitled 'Pussy Cat' ride out...36 of us became stuck in a major gridlocked traffic jam- 3 quarters of the way down a 1 in 4 twisty hill.Oh,and we became embroiled in a bicycle race-and lost!Eventually, thanks to the Guzzi Cali guy and pillion with the sat nav,we turned around and Karen found a back road short cut that shocked the locals of a sleepy village. We finally ended up at our destination for tea and cakes with a huge dollop of sweet relief!

Yes, RED KITE II IS NOW SOLD OUT.

There are no tickets available on the gate.

I can only now accept bookings from those I personally agreed to at the Guzzi Festival.
