Cancelled - Coventry Motofest

Event Date:
Saturday, June 6, 2020 (All day) to Sunday, June 7, 2020 (All day)

James Noble, Festival Director, said: “Against the current backdrop of extraordinary events, the MotoFest Coventry board has been constantly evaluating the viability of this year’s festival.

Following recent Government advice on mass gatherings and large-scale public events during the Coronavirus crisis, we have taken the sensible and appropriate decision to suspend MotoFest Coventry for this year.

Please be assured, the weight of consideration, both practical and moral, has been substantial and we do not arrive at this decision lightly.

A great event for anyone interested in motor vehicle history and in the home of the British motor industry.

The Warwickshire Branch will have two MGCGB stands there, one for road bikes and one for racing bikes, all organised by Dave Wilcox

The racing bikes can be entered into the track parade (as long as I get the entry in before Jan 2020). The circuit being a 1 mile loop on the closed ring road. There’s a free bacon roll for the participants!

The road bikes can joint the mass-ride-in, starting from Combe Abbey and join us on the club stand at Warwick Row. We typically get 10-12 bikes to display and I treat the riders to breakfast in the Litten Tree Pub at 09:00 ‘ish.

There’s ¼ mile between the stands. It’s a great family weekend with lots of other attractions, so we would welcome any members ‘sans bike’ with entourage, to come and visit us.
